A woman was kept off an American Airlines plane because her t-shirt was considered offensive. It read:

If I wanted the government in my womb I would fuck a Senator.

Amen, sistah!

  1. Hmm… so I guess that American women with intelligent but bluntly worded political views are now also considered to be threats to flight safety? Or are they threats to the “enjoyment” of the commercial flying experience of other passengers… This passenger’s commercial flying experience would be far less disturbed by seeing the word “fuck” on a t-shirt, than by the outrage of being held hostage in a jet parked at the gate for eight hours or longer, without any valid explanation or good reason!!!

    • Drangedinaz says:

Surely you jest! There is no joy to be had on a modern commercial flight. I would think a good “fuck” would improve everyone’s mood quite nicely (and by that I mean a good round of cursing). 😉

Well, of course the tee was offensive. Personally, I’d rather not spend a flight with someone who thought it appropriate to wear something emblazoned with the word “senator.”

    *rim shot*

(It’s Towel Day and I couldn’t figure out how to work “Belgium” into the joke. Sorry.)

    • Drangedinaz says:

I think that was a swoosh, IMHO. BTW, I had to look up Towel Day. It has been over two decades since I have read Hitchikers Guide. Methinks I am overdue.
