There’s another scandal at the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office but it might not be what it at first appears. According to The Arizona Republic, the wife of a high ranking commander illegally accessed a Criminal Justice database1. However, it is interesting to note that the husband of the woman accused had filed a complaint against the County in relation to the ongoing conflict between the Sheriff (Joe Arpaio), the former County Attorney (Andrew Thomas), and the Board of County Supervisors.
There is so much drama going on in this County, none of which is good for county residents, that it is hard to tell what the heck is going on. It sure would be nice if the County leaders could go about doing the County’s business instead of engaging in corruption and infighting.
